Redwood Ramble, an annual family-friendly music festival in Northern California, chose LymeLight Foundation as their 2016 charitable recipient. LymeLight attended the event to educate guests about tick safety and Lyme awareness. Both Madison Zimmerman, Lyme Warrior and daughter of the organizers and Phyllis Bedford, LymeLight’s Executive Director, spoke about Lyme disease. The event presented LymeLight with an amazing donation of $20,230 from proceeds and donations.
Our tent location was visible and accessible to attendees. Our promotional material including tick keys, tick wipes, sunglasses, cup cozies, bracelets were all appreciated by our visitors, and our awareness/prize wheel was a huge hit with the kids especially.
