Dart for Art 2013

The exciting and energetic Second Annual Dart for Art evening was a tremendous success raising $90,000! To add to the excitement, we added a live auction this year and had 5 amazing items, including this Manuel Neri valued at $45,000 donated by Hackett Mill Gallery in San Francisco! Other items included a Cocktail Party for 30 at Studio Shop, Private Dinner for 10 at Hackett Mill Gallery, an original painting by Kim Foshsin and a piece by Stephan Coyle!

What is Dart for Art?

Dart for Art is not an auction and not your typical cocktail party. Here’s how it works; as guests arrive each couple or single will be assigned numbers which will be used for the “Dart”. Guests will stroll through the gallery enjoying cocktails and meeting the artists, and previewing the various works of art. After a brief introduction the fun will begin. The numbers will be randomly pulled. As your number is called you are invited to Dart for your favorite piece of art. Walk, run, sprint to the piece you wish to take home. If a guests’ first choice has been claimed, they must quickly dart to their second or third choice. Most guests will leave as winners and we guarantee everyone will have a great time! Dart for Art is a wonderful opportunity to obtain original art and have a good time doing it, all while supporting LymeLight Foundation. Dart for Art is an evening filled with fun, energy, and excitement!
