Rebecca Preman, New Hampshire Half Marathon

On September 30th, Rebecca will be running the half marathon portion of the NH Marathon in Bristol New Hampshire. She has participated in this race two times prior and it is one of her favorites. It’s actually the last half marathon she ran before being diagnosed with Lyme.

Rebecca is raising support for LymeLight Foundation because “Lyme disease is a nasty thing and not only does it disrupt your life in a physical way, but financially too”. She chose LymeLight Foundation over other foundations because “they focus on helping kids and their families pay for treatment”. “I hope that whatever my friends and family, and even strangers, raise will ease the financial burden for at least one family. No one should have to go through the struggle that is Lyme disease, especially kids. This is my way of spreading awareness of the disease and helping out in a small way.”
