LymeLight Presents Navigating Pregnancy and Lyme Disease: From Conception to Postpartum Care

This in-depth discussion will cover the often overlooked aspects of Lyme and pregnancy, including whether Lyme transmits to your baby if you are in remission during pregnancy, what testing options you have available during pregnancy, what’s next once your baby is born, and more. Eleventh Annual Grant Recipient Reception (Virtual)

The 11th Annual Grant Recipient Reception was a day filled with sunny smiles as 78 grant recipients and their families gathered from 23 states. The virtual event theme was sunshine and light – together we created friendship bracelets and chose colors to bring cheer and inspire us as we look toward light, new beginnings and hope each day. We also spent time visiting with our incredible LymeLight community. We are so encouraged to hear the stories of how a LymeLight grant has made such a difference and is transforming lives.

LymeLight Presents PANS: Tick-borne Infections as Triggers of Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome Webinar

Join us online for a webinar by Daniel Kinderlehrer, MD, as he presents the spectrum of neuropsychiatric illnesses associated with underlying infections, and explains the underlying pathophysiology with recommendations for appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategies.

Dart for Art 2024

The 13th Annual Dart for Art fundraising event was a tremendous success raising over $265,000 (net)! Our new venue at the Computer History Museum was spectacular. The evening was filled with fun and excitement with over 400 guests darting for 212 pieces of original art from 206 donating artists.

Tenth Annual Grant Recipient Reception (Virtual)

An afternoon to remember! Our 10th Annual Grant Recipient Reception included 91 grant recipients and their families who joined from 29 states. We heard inspiring words from our grant recipients, celebrated our “umbrellas of support” with fun hats and an umbrella art project, and took fun photos in our LymeLight photobooth. It filled us with immense delight to unite everyone across the country, to exchange stories of struggles and victories, and to acknowledge the unwavering resilience of these incredible individuals.

Dart for Art 2023

The LIVE 12th Annual Dart for Art was an evening to remember. Everyone was ecstatic to celebrate in person once again! Approximately 450 guests enjoyed our art gallery with over 200 pieces of donated art from 194 artists. We were thrilled Dart for Art was a huge success and raised $220,000 (net).

Ninth Annual Grant Recipient Reception (Virtual)

LymeLight’s 9th Annual (3rd Virtual) Grant Recipient Reception was a huge success! We welcomed nearly 100 recipients from 31 states for our “Summer Fun” themed afternoon which included sharing stories, creating “Trees of Hope”, and an exciting raffle. Our recipient speakers from NV, MI, FL, OR and TX shared their Lyme journeys with us and inspired many to share their own struggles and successes during our Meet and Greet activity.

Dart for Art 2022

The 11th Annual Dart for Art kicked off with a Cocktail Evening for sponsors, patrons, and artists, followed by a week of live Art Previews at our pop-up gallery. Over 200 pieces from 196 artists were featured. The main event began with catered delivered dinners followed by two fun-filled hours of online “darting for art”. This incredible evening raised $235,000 (net) for children and young adults suffering from Lyme disease.

Eighth Annual Grant Recipient Reception (Virtual)

What a wonderful celebration we all enjoyed together at our 8th Annual (2nd Virtual) Grant Recipient Reception!! We enjoyed an afternoon of sharing stories and drawing Suns and Moons during our Art Therapy Activity. We giggled while we posed for the LymeLight Photo Booth with our mustaches and head boppers, and held our breath to see who would win the raffle! Big congrats to our winners from IL, NY, WI, CO, TX and VA!

Virtual Dart for Art 2021

The 10th Annual Dart for Art celebration began with a week of energy and excitement as the LymeLight team hosted a pop-up gallery on Burlingame Avenue to welcome guests and artists alike. Nearly 200 pieces of original art by 164 donating artists were showcased during the small group previews.

The main event began with catered delivered dinners followed by the video from Executive Director, Phyllis Bedford. The evening wrapped up with two fun-filled hours of online “darting for art”. This incredible evening raised $265,000 (net) for children and young adults suffering from Lyme disease. What makes Dart for Art such a unique and special event is the artists donating their work enable art to be used directly for healing.

Seventh Annual Grant Recipient Reception (Virtual)

What an incredible day we all had together at our first-ever VIRTUAL Grant Recipient Reception!! The afternoon was filled with fun activities like a soothing art therapy exercise, an energetic game of Bingo (shout out to our winners from CA, CO, GA, IL, MT & NY) and lots of getting-to-know-yous and sharing of experiences.

Virtual Dart for Art 2020 showcased two consecutive evenings, filled with energy and excitement, featuring 226 pieces of art from 172 donating artists. Over 400 attendees gathered near their computers raising $300,00 (net). The twist of virtual running through an online gallery added to the evenings’ festivities.

LymeLight Foundation hosted over 25 grant recipient families, from across five states, for our annual celebration that creates lasting friendships, provides a safe and supportive space to share stories, and recognizes the strength of the community.

Ryde for Lyme 2015

Ryde for Lyme 2015 surpassed our Fundraising goal of $80,000 (net). We had a gorgeous day and a fantastic group. The $80,000 met our matching grant goal and thus Every $1 raised counted as $2. Our post ride team tents, massage tents and Lyme Awareness tent were a whirlwind of activity. THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our ryders’ fundraising efforts! THANK YOU to all Ryde for Lyme ryders, virtual ryders and volunteers!

Dart for Art 2015

Dart for Art 2015 proceeds helped us to surpass $1,000,000 in total grant funding! We couldn’t have done this without our loyal supporters! This has been an outstanding year for art! We were overwhelmed by the generosity and talent of our Dart for Art Artists. We applaud our artists’ efforts and encourage all event guests to support the artists and their wonderful work in the future.

Ryde for Lyme 2014

Ryde for Lyme 2014 was a great success! Over $77,000 and a lot of hope was raised for families with Lyme.

The 2014 event was a blast, we had so much fun training and riding. We can’t wait to do it again and we hope that you will join us. Ryde for Lyme 2015 will take place on Saturday August 1st 2015!

First Annual Grant Recipient Reception

We had 10 grant recipients join us for our 1st annual Grant Recipient Reception. We had a wonderful day! Our Spokesperson, Professional Freeskier and Olympic Finalist Angeli VanLannen, shared her Lyme journey and stories from Sochi.

Dart for Art 2014

The fast paced, energetic and “sold out” Dart for Art 2014 evening was fun for all. Close to $90,000 was raised to fund treatment grants for children and young adults suffering with Lyme disease. We received fabulous support from the artist community many of whom attended the event.

LymeLight Foundation Spokesperson and 2014 Olympic hopeful Angeli premiered her documentary film LymeLight on Wednesday October 16, 2013, at the Aquarius Theatre in Palo Alto.

Ryde for Lyme 2013

Our Inaugural Ryde for Lyme event was a tremendous success raising close to $55,000 (net)! Our cyclists pedaled to raise funds via an online fundraising campaign helping children and young adults suffering with Lyme disease.

The exciting and energetic Second Annual Dart for Art evening was a tremendous success raising $90,000! To add to the excitement, we added a live auction this year and had 5 amazing items, including this Manuel Neri valued at $45,000 donated by Hackett Mill Gallery in San Francisco!

Tennis Star Fundraiser

LymeLight Founation was Sam Stosur’s beneficiary charity for the 2012 Oakley Beyond Reason campaign. Sam’s team came in 2nd overall, a huge accomplishment for LymeLight and our budding social media presence. Sam’s team raised almost $3,000 for LymeLight thanks to our wonderful online community.

Spelling Bee

THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE is a hilarious tale of overachievers’ angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show’s Tony Award winning creative team has created the unlikeliest of hit musicals about the unlikeliest of heroes.

Dart for Art 2012

Our first annual Dart for Art exceeded all expectations. Artwork was generously donated, by over 90 different artist from across the country. Local art patrons and supporters of LymeLight Foundation had a delightful evening and an invigorating time “darting” to their favorite piece of art and raising net funds of $75,000.

The first LymeLight Foundation Event and first LymeLight Production–You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown — premiered in June 2011 at the World Class Campbell Center at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton, CA

Maggie Moe, producer and founder of LymeLight Productions, attracted four of her highly talented Ithaca Theater Program classmates and one talented Boston Conservatory member to join her in the cast. Maggie and her talented cast was back in June of 2012 to present — Spelling Bee.
