LymeLight’s 9th Annual (3rd Virtual) Grant Recipient Reception was a huge success! We welcomed nearly 100 recipients from 31 states and enjoyed an afternoon of sharing stories and creating “Trees of Hope” as an art therapy activity, reminding us all to keep hoping and dreaming. We took “Summer Fun” themed photos with silly sunglasses and flower leis during the Photo Booth and cheered for 7 winners during the LymeLight Raffle. Our recipient speakers from NV, MI, FL, OR and TX shared their Lyme journeys with us and inspired many to share their own struggles and successes during our Meet and Greet activity, when recipients can speak freely and get to know one another.
It continues to be an honor to host a safe space for LymeLight recipients and families to connect and remember that we are not alone. We hope to see all next year!
