Curtis started “End of the Lyme” (EoTL) racing club in honor of his wife, Jennifer, who has struggled with Lyme and related coinfections for more than a decade. After many years undiagnosed, Curtis and Jennifer found answers by shipping a blood sample to a private lab. Curtis began training for triathlons to help manage stress and decided to dedicate the EoTL Racing Club mission to spreading awareness of Lyme to prevent others from becoming ill. Secondarily, Curtis hopes to provide an outlet for anyone wanting to raise money that will be used to help treat children and young adults who cannot afford treatment.
