For the past three years, Avril Lavigne has generously donated her birthday to LymeLight Foundation. In lieu of gifts, she asked her fans donate to our grant program through her #BirthdayCampaign. Through generous campaigns and thoughtful asks, Avril and her fans have lovingly participated and greatly impacted our mission.
This year, in honor of her fans, and in support of providing hope, treatment & healing to so many affected by Lyme, we’re excited to share the great news that we received a generous donation directly from Avril & The Avril Lavigne Foundation. To date, over $175,000 has been donated to LymeLight’s grant program through The Avril Lavigne Foundation.
Her newest song, “Head Above Water“, is inspired by her ongoing struggle with Lyme. We are continually thankful that she uses her platform to give all those suffering with this disease a voice!
