Professional friends and colleagues,

The time has come to step down from my career, which has been a significant part of my existence.

The connection with you has enlightened, inspired, and influenced me to become the person I am today. I’ve learned and gained so much through every interaction. It is enriching and powerful to appreciate the many opportunities I’ve had to work alongside such a diverse and unique professional cohort.

Big Change programs tend to have many moments of tension and conflict, throughout the lifecycle. Over the past nearly 30 years, I can recall stepping back from chaos when it became too heavy for the teams, to stop and recognize that ‘We are all just a bunch of people walking around, trying to do the right thing.’ I believe that perspective applies to every project, role, and assignment I’ve been given at work. And what an awesome ride it was!

Soon, my recovery from Late Lyme+ will find new ways to contribute through my work efforts. My gameplan is to independently contract my professional skills part-time, to stay sharp and because I love the work I get to do.

Moreover, I have a super strong feeling there are many existing Lyme+ non-profit organizations that will channel my capabilities and energy towards a purpose, much greater than my own.
