Celebrate Fun Fish February with color and whimsy! All month, artist Theresa Heidig Rooney is featuring playful fish with lots of personality! Each Friday throughout the month of February, a new collection will be revealed and 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the LymeLight Foundation.

Fun Fish are small oil and cold wax paintings, 6 x 6 inches on canvas with copper leaf edges and priced at $275 each. This year there are three categories: Artsy Fish (done in the style of famous artists), Designer Fish (with elegant wallpaper backgrounds) and Just Plain Fun Fish!

Theresa has chosen LymeLight Foundation as her charity of choice this year because the mission of helping children and young adults find hope and healing from Lyme disease is a cause near and dear to her heart. She knows firsthand how difficult it is to get a diagnosis and find proper treatment for Lyme disease as she has been on this journey since age seventeen. Three Collections

• Week one - Artsy Fish: Based on artwork from famous artists throughout history like Van Gogh, Picasso and Degas

Why Fun Fish February?

February is typically a slow month for artists. Theresa started this in 2024 to stay motivated, try out some new ideas and techniques, and bring awareness to Lyme disease… something that she has been navigating through since age 17!

Last year raised over $1,100.00 for the Children’s Lyme Disease Network!

This year 20% of sales will be donated to the LymeLight Foundation. An organization who helps families pay for Lyme treatments.
