Erica Valker, Founder of SERENE CBD, is a Lyme survivor and proof that with dedication to well and persistence, you can get better. She suddenly became very ill in 2011 with late stage chronic Lyme disease which had been undetected for years. She struggled with the disease for several years, including daily battles with severe pain, seizures and eventually complete disability. Erica began to bounce back in 2016 and now has a healthy, happy baby girl named Aya. She credits her life saving recovery largely to medical cannabis & CBD, amongst other treatments.
“The moment I decided to get into the CBD business was after experiencing first-hand the medical benefits of cannabis when nothing doctors gave me worked. We were spending thousands of dollars a month on treatments and medications but it wasn’t until I started using CBD regularly did I start to see a turn around. I said that if and when I get through this and get my life back, I am going to do something to give back and help others. A few years later SERENE CBD was born and we’ve since helped dozens of people feel better every day through our products. Now we can pay it forward in partnership with the LymeLight Foundation.”
